Pledge Music // Design Sprint // DAY 1 - Investigation

DAY 1 - Investigation

Today we wanted to gain as broad a knowledge around Pledge as we could. To do this, we conducted a series of 10 minute sprints to investigate the following initial topics:

1.Competitors (Design)

After some initial discussion, we trimmed this list down to:

1. Competitors - Who are they?

Kickstarter

Broader focus, allows different projects e.g. art, comics and design.
Most popular corwdfund site

Everything must be a project with a clear end.

Sell gig tickets - If enough are sold the event goes ahead.

Ugly colours
Gradients
Bad type
Should use full bleed images and boxes that reach the edges

Not clear enough

Tiny bottom nav
